  • Currently we do not accept health insurance.

    You may receive reimbursement with your health insurance or ‘out of network’ providers - please check with you insurance carrier as reimbursement can be as much as60%. We can provide a ‘superbill’ to submit for out-of-network reimbursement.

    We also accept payment from HSA / FSA accounts as psychotherapy and some nutritional services are eligible for HSA/FSA.

  • Our rates for individual and couples sessions range between $40 - $180. The rate is dependent on the service, therapist, frequency, and availability. Some therapists offer a limited number of a sliding scale spots; if this is something you are interested in, please mention this in your inquiry or when you have your free 15-minute initial phone call.

  • At Flourish, we use the term psychotherapist to define our training and role as longer term therapists (more than 90 days) who take time to learn the client’s context, family history, medical history, and past experiences to consider varying factors that could be contributing to the symptoms felt in the here and now. This can be different from a therapist or counselor who provide short term or crisis counseling. The term psychotherapist also differentiates our work from other therapies such as physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and massage.

  • While licensed psychologists hold doctoral degrees in psychology and psychotherapists usually hold masters degrees in either psychology, counseling or social work, all have many similarities in their foundational academic education as well as sharing similar paths to licensure that require at least two years of clinical supervision in the state of Texas.
